Flight Expectation

We are given an expectation paper what will we expect in our first or next riding a plane in our course Field Trip and Seminar. This essay will take in minimum of two thousand words to be able to pass the requirements in the course. And now this is the beginning of the two thousand words essay.
Each one of us has its own dreams, some of the are taking a hard time of reaching it. But others are just waiting for their dream will come true. One day my own dream will come true, its now coming near. I studied Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in the one of the best University in the Philippines the University of Southeastern Philippines. During my childhood days when I was young, I never thought that one day I will encounter something that will change my whole life. It startled my eyes, I was really amazed my heart skip beat. I saw a flying object like an eagle soaring in the sky with a strange sound from a far. I already spent almost four years in studying, now I’m taking the subject Field Trip and Seminar which we will go out to the campus and take an educational trip. Our group decided to go to metro Manila to take some of the company visit. Saying those things is just easy but we are having a hard time going to Manila. Money is the first difficulties not all of the students enrolled in this subject can immediately pay the said amount to travel. Tons of letter of approval and some activities to make group bonds stronger like intra personal and team building skills will take through. Some are first time riding an airplane going to the airport and other things also. This will be my first time riding an airplane I am hoping to that my experience will be worth to be kept and cherish for ever. Not every one has given a chance with this opportunity of taking a ride of an airplane due to financial problems and some reason for them to be unable to experience riding an airplane. This time I will grab and never let this opportunity to just pass and never try this kind of opportunity going far places and specially riding an airplane. As the time pass by the excitement is really tough feeling I thought of never taking a sleep and the time is very slow as it pass. A whole day now is like a year taking so long to pass because of the excitement that I will be riding an airplane. Lately during my nap time always my dreams are what will happen in the airplane. Theres one time my dream was I was riding an airplane and together with my family I am so old and that was my first time of riding an airplane I was crying so loud because I am so old and that is my first time of riding an airplane it was such a bad nightmare. After that I had again a dream again I was riding again an airplane. The day is so near we are now very close to the said event in the story the trip to Metro Manila and riding an airplane. Seeing an airplane makes me more excited to go to Manila and experience what is riding an airplane will be felt like. Hoping this will come true in my life someday it will come.
Some are envy to our course having a field trip somewhere in the Philippines. Going to Metro Manila will be fun, they said from the older school mate who experience the Field Trip and Seminar course in the Institute of Computing in the University of Southeastern Philippines. Not all of the courses available in the University has Field Trips and Seminars in their curriculum. Some students are jealous of the opportunity that the students of the institute of computing will experience. They spread rumors that the trip is just for fun and not taking this seriously but the trip is all about educational trip and a lot of company visit all the time spent in the trip is on company or in the bus or resting. No time will be wasted during the trip all of it will be related to our courses Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. We will visit those Information Technology related company like IBM Toshiba, and more. We will also visit some school view their research and development like University of The Philippines and Ateneo De Manila University, there we will view their research and their theses. All of these thing are just a little in the Field Trip and Seminar course first of all we are needed to ride an airplane to get to the destination. There where the journey begins.
What is your expectation during your first plane ride? Theres a first time for every thing, expecting a lot of things will cause a lot of excitement. Riding a plane its my first time in my life it is because of the subject field trip and seminar this course will let me experience what is the feeling of riding of an airplane. I expect a lot of things in my first ride of an airplane. I expect that this will not be the last time I will ride an airplane. I expect during in the airport it will be fun, this will be my first time in my life entering the Davao International Airport. Departing from school the fun will begin. I really don’t know what will happen during the trip, together with my friends, I don’t know what things will come. It will be fun because some of my friends in the Institute of Computing is together with me in the trip and some faculty is together with us. I will now feel what is the feeling going far far away from my family. This is too much for me. I try the comfort room in the Davao International Airport, I will take a lot of pictures inside the airport, entrance, seats and lot of things that I will found in the airport. I expect that I will enjoy the sights in the airport. I expect that I will see a lot of different people with different culture, lots of foreign people and hear different languages. I expect that it will be a great trip together with my classmates early in the morning going to the airport a lot of thing will come in our mind talking different things and laughing out lout in the trip taking a lots of selfies together with my friends and the scenes in early in the morning. Talking nonsense things while waiting for the others to come in the meeting place some will come late our faculty will be angry with those people who will come late and delayed the departure from the meeting place to the airport. I expect the flight will not be delayed because of the circumstances that will occur during that day. I hope the weather will be nice no storm coming nor rain clouds or rain will come to experience the travel to the most fun level. If the weather is good it will be great day for those who will have a trip if not some will not be happy once in a life time in their school life their trip will be ruined of the bad weather. I hope I will not be sick at that time I am so sickly I easily get sick. If my health condition will be goto at that time I will make use of it not to ruin the trip and act professional in fornt of my classmates.
During on my first step entering in the airport feeling the air blowing from the air condition units around the building to control the temperature the sounds of the engine blowing from the plane taking off and landing the paging call of the attendants the steps of those people who's in hurry and those tourist and regular passengers in the airport these are those common feelings of the persons who are inside the airport. But for me all of those are just part of the expectation that I will bring together with me during my first time riding a plane. Sitting while waiting for my plane I expect of it, at this time I will be with my friends we will talk some things inside the airport while waiting for our flight. If our flight is called then it is the time that we will go to the plane but for I have seen on TV the passengers will present their tickets and fall in line. For security reasons some will inspect your baggage and it will pass through a conveyor and a x-ray scanner to identify what is inside your baggage. We have a limit of 20 kilos of baggage as I have heard in the meeting. Then we will now go inside the airplane I will now see a lot of people inside different cultures languages and citizenship. I hope that I will sit near on the window to see the view above the sky to the grounds. My friends too will having a same plane in our trip it will be fun and so noisy because it will be a party party inside the plane. I hope that I will be sitting near with my Computer Science classmates Ella, Jer , Tors , Michael, Timoy, Cha and Jer. With them I will be comfortable to talk. We will be noisy laughing talking or shouting inside the airplane with my friends in the plane I cant imagine what will happen inside of it. During taking off it will be my first time taking off of an airplane. Is still there be a count down in launching an airplane? Hmm it will be found out during the day of flight. While the plane will be on the air I will see a lot of beautiful scenery seeing the ground up so high I will see bird flying and see the whole Davao City I will see a view that will never be seen in the gournd. The wide blue ocean, rivers , streams, buildings, mountains and islands these are some things I will see when I will be in the sky. I will see the clouds I will travel from Davao, Mindanao pass through the islands of Visayas and to the mother land of the Philippines Luzon. Where the center of trade in the Philippines and also the capital of the Philippines is located Manila and the National Capital Region or NCR. It will be huge experience in my life above the air seeing a lot of things I will cherish those thing till the day I will graduate and travel again across the world. We will land a the Ninoy Aquino International Airport and I will see a lot of people again and prove the rumors about our airport those things in the news that the said airport is one of the worst airport in the world. Now I am arriving at the Metro Manila from Davao City to Metro Manila it will be a such huge experience in my entire life that I will not forget until I die. These are just some of my expectations during my firs flight and first time riding an airplane. It was just a dream that I never thought that would come true to my life. I am just studying not expecting to reach this far at this moment I would not still believe that I was going off nowhere to somewhere will my life change and those things are provided to be learned and valued most. But theres only one thing I will pray the most in this trip which is that this trip would be safe and no bad things will happen during the trip. I will pray till the day would come these things will come true.
Ending this essay will not mean that those things are enough in the trip. I am always open for good possibilities that will happen for bad things they are not welcome here.

During my childhood days when I was young, I never thought that one day I will encounter something that will change my whole life. It startled my eyes, I was really amazed my heart skip beat. I saw a flying object like an eagle soaring in the sky with a strange sound from a far. I felt something that someday in my life will fly all over to the world and see the world from above. That day it took a lot of time for me to decide what will I do in my future. A lot of things happen back then that dream changed as the time passed by, during my elementary days I have encountered things that my childish mind will change. At that time I think of being a super hero like in some movies, anime and cartoons, one of my favorite was Son Goku of the anime series Dragon Ball. Goku is very strong he defeated a lots of bad guys in the series, I was also acting that I could use his powers, but I realize that it was imposible to become a superhero like in the anime. Growing old and becoming mature realizes me back of my first astonishing expirience, the object I saw is an airplane a kind of vehicle travels on air by flying and used to travel very far places that hard to get by land. By that time my dream may not come true beacause of the obstacles along the way, but still I was hoping it will come true. Now it getting closer now.

During my college life I was dreaming of becoming a professional computer programmer. I decided my fate by choosing one of the prestigous university in Davao City, it was UseP or shall we say University of Southeastern Philippines at that time it was ranked top 5 in the whole Philippines. I took the UseP admission test, fortunately I passed the University admission test for a Bachelor course. Then took the interview in the Institute of Computing. The personel who interviewed me was Ma’am Ella I forgot her full name but still I remember her. Then I enrolled in their summer English class called English Bridge Program or EBP. It was for those who did not get the score of 8 above in English part of the admission test. The English bridge program lasts 10 days during summer in 2012, a 10 hours a day class full of fun memories to prepare students for their college life. After the english bridge program the day of enrollment came I enrolled in the Institute of Computing with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, that day at that moment my college life is about to begin.

Time passed by during my college life a lot of things happened but still I was able to survive up to now. Many bad things happen I was about to surrender but I kept on moving forward to it. Many failures and misfortune encouters. Difficult subjects, failing marks, low quiz scores, no project, low examination scores ,no time management, bad habits, very strict instructors, lots of misfortunes and bad influences, these are those common bad thing that happends in my college life. But there still a lot of good things happened, I never expect to reach this far in my entire life, I became now a third year in Institute of computing a few more subjects to go then my college life will be done. Now the time has come my dreams are now to be unfold and bacame near to achieve yet too far, but it is fast aproaching.

There was a subject or course that is a part of my current curiculum called Field Trip and Seminar, one of the most awaited course in the Institute of Computing. Both Computer Science and Information Technology Students that have reached the requirement of enrolling the subjecr Field Trip and Seminar are involved in this course. They must enroll this course to be able to complete their program requirement for their degree to graduate and receive their diploma. I was enrolled in this course, I never thought that this course may be the way of reaching my dreams in life. The Field Trip and Seminar course have 3 Field Trip Model. The first one is called Model A consist of 1 National Trip, 1 National Seminar or Convention and 1 Local Field Trip, I forgot the details of the second one but it is called Model B consist of 1 National and 2 Local Trip I think and lastly the third one is Model C consist only of Local Trips and Local Seminars. The class will decide which one of the models will be chosen. The class have discussed the difference between each models and their advantages and disadvantages. Many has agreed on the first one I also agreed too, that time when they said we were going to Metro Manila by Plane I was really happy that my dream is now in reach yet still too far, because of some problems like finacial and administrative issues due to the past problems of others schools Field Trip and Seminar. Due to willingness of the class of getting to the Model A’s activities the Field Trip and Seminar course is still moving to get the whole class into Model A. Thus everything has not yet done but somehow theres only a reason for myself choosing the Model A for our class Field Trip and Seminar.

The reason behind my choice is my childhood dream, a dream that have been sleeping in my heart and not stoping for beliving that this might come true anytime. I never thought that I will be going to ride an airplane and fly away and off to somewhere, up to now at this age of 19 I never step up on an airplane. Now it is really near but as always yet too far. The dream in my childhood days brings me here now to the stage of being a good student , kind person, a loving son and a good servant of God and beliving having hard work will pay as much how you work for.
